Notes / Requirements
  • Confirm the bracket called out in the project specification before cutting shelves. Shelf depth is derived from the bracket, never assumed.
  • Shelf depth is ⅛″ less than the bracket. The bracket tip finishes ⅛″ proud of the shelf front edge.
  • Shelves stop 1″ short of walls and of adjacent shelving, at both ends.
  • Maximum shelf length is 95″. Break longer runs into multiple shelves.
  • End brackets sit 3″ from each shelf end, measured to bracket centerline.
  • Intermediate brackets at 30″ maximum on center. Space them equally between the two end brackets.
  • Shelves are ¾″ PB unless the specification states otherwise.
  • The same layout rules apply whether standards are surface-mounted to a wall or to a casework end or diewall. Only the mounting substrate changes.
