Notes / Requirements
  • Glass is routed into the back of the door frame.
  • Rabbet depth is slightly deeper than the glass thickness, about 0.5 mm.
  • Rabbet width is ½″.
  • Glass is sized ⅛″ smaller than the overall rabbet size.
  • Frames are fitted with glass retaining clips and rubber spacers.

Glass sizing - worked example, 24″ × 36″ door with 3″ stiles and rails:
